Do not really know about that. I would suggest calling them.
We have male and female bartenders you will have to come in and meet them for yourself.
Dogs are probably allowed on the patio. I'd suggest calling to be sure.
The only thing worse than the food (wings included) is the service. I would go to Weber front row just up the street a bit, wings are much better.
The happy hour is fantastic on Sundays and Mondays. I really enjoyed myself here. We had the shrimp, chicken wings and quesadillas. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
We came here for a party and it was a pretty nice place. The food was tasty, the lighting is a little dim, but overall it was good.
Nice local gastropub. Friendly service and good food.
It was real good decent service for sure one thing though is if you get cold easily might bring a light jacket besides that great place family oriented, warm season they have outdoor seating as well. They also have live music as well again great place.
Great food and service. We had a group of 11 and she did a wonderful job.
Good burger n fries
Always friendly and quick. Very clean and laid back
Try the Cobb salad.
Absolutely Love it! The servers are prompt! The restaurant setting is hardwood antiques but still gives a classic atmosphere. It's a mixed age crowd of mid aged, family, and seniors. I had the shrimp and grits. It was delicious! I could taste every flavor and I did not have to add seasonings. The rolls are served with cajun butter and were delicious ! The side salad was huge as well. Everything was fresh and home cooked. Definitely a place to go for a lunch and dinner!! Enjoy!!
Truly enjoyed our "night cap" visit. The live entertainment was great!
Good food and loved seeing the band Crystal Lady.
Good food, great band, and feel free to dance along!
Great service had a private party and waitress really took great care of us. The food was awesome
Our bartender tonight did an excellent job. He worked diligently to get us our appetizer food allergy free. Thank you!
Was not a good experience. Service was bad, food was decent, and the lighting was terrible.
We stopped in here to see the first period of the blues game. I ordered a Blue Moon off tap that had a metallic taste - not really all that great. My friends reported a similar taste to their beers, so maybe something off with the taps. We didn't get a chance to get any food. The TV we sat near had kind of weird spots and was clearly on it's last legs. Overall not horrific, but definitely not that great.
Best Cajun food this side of New Orleans. Great American food, too.
Blah blah, not interesting. We stopped on a mild sunny Sunday and sat outside. Only Vegan options where a modified Portabella sandwich and a modified Phad Thai which was actually tasty! The server was ignorant. Had to go ask the kitchen staff twaich. She didn't bring us utensils or napkins. We shared the Phad Thai and she just put it in the middle of our table and left. I eventually got utensils and small plates from a nearby table so we could eat. House wine was blah. Draft beer cost $6.50.
A classic “sticky table” restaurant, with a run-of-the-mill menu, careless housekeeping, the works. I would go there if I were starving and everything else were closed, but otherwise it’s easy to find something better.
Went for the fish and chips. The fish was greasy. And the chips were oily as well. Asked for malt vinegar and never received it. Our server was on his second day. Should have had an experienced server shadowing him. Did not know about the specials. Poor training and follow up. The fish and chips were $16. By far the most we have ever paid but not close to the best fish we have ever eaten.
We had our MINI REUNION here. I arrived a little bit late and there was still only 12-15 ppl. There because of the location! EVERYONE from my graduating class lives WAY FURTHER WEST OF THE CITY..this is in South County, everyone complained. So next time we will have it out west AND AT A LATER TIME! Who starts out on a Saturday at 5pm? 7 will be the bewitching hour now! WOO HOO 😁
Great food. Absolutely fantastic. The Greek salad is wonderful. The California burger is a little heavy on the blue cheese, but otherwise great
Make sure you catch Pennsylvania Slim Blues band when they play here -- about once a month or so.
Great food and large portions. I sit at the bar most days and it’s always great to see Krysta. She is excellent at her job, friendly, and can usually predict what I will order before I do. There’s so much on the menu you won’t run out of options. Overall service is great. Yeah, it’s a little pricey, like most sit-down restaurants, but you get a lot of good quality food for the cost.
Like to come here for music, but never have had a good meal there. Been trying for years. It could be a great place. I have heard this from a lot of others, so it’s just not me being picky. Maybe time to change your chef. Good luck.
My Mom, sister and I just wanted to send a huge THANKS to the owner and staff for a wonderfully executed bridal shower today. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! Your restaurant’s 40 years of experience definitely showed with your kind interactions and organized, efficient way your staff was able to handle our party. Thank you SOOOO much!
Best Pizza I've ever had in my life and beer of the day for $2.25! You guys are Awesome friendliest waiters and freaking great bartender! 10 stars if it were possible to give! Loved it!
Great food and service. The meatloaf is amazing.
Very large portions service good but it was not very busy when were there. The homemade chips are really tasty
Great neighborhood pub. Great acoustic entertainment.
Four friends went tonight, and everyone was very pleased with the meal and experience. Nice atmosphere, good service, decent menu selection.
Best Fish & Chips I've ever had-!
Sat at the bar. Had very good attentive service. We also had a couple of apps. They were hot and delicious. So definitely try the wings and the shrimp and grits.
I like this CJ muggs layout. There is a parking behind the buildings that is easy to walk to from the front. The staff was nice as well and the food is good. The parking out front is bad. Use the walkway between the buildings to get to the parking lot faster.
2 steaks ordered, 1 over done, 1 under done and that one was very bland. Sat on the patio, took twice as long to be served, in facts the couple behind us said the waitress seemed to forget the patio. Very disapointed, was highly recomended.
They have live music in the bar area and I travel out to Webster Groves to see my favorites generally once a month. The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. Love the service, always spot on.
Great food. Service is attentive and wait staff work well together. Family Friendly and happy hour specials. Grab a bite to eat or enjoy some drinks before going to the Rep Theater.
In my book 3 stars is a decent review for a restaurant. There were 7 of us & we all ordered something different. Each dish was edible but nothing to brag about. The atmosphere was pleasant & we enjoyed ourselves.
Good! A little pricey, but fill of flavor and good staff.
Now I have gone here for years, since I was little in fact. Normally it is just fine and I like it as a norm that my mom and I go too. That being said tonight was horrible. We called ahead and found out there was only a 15 minutes wait and thought great. We arrived and were seated. Then the wheels fell off. We sat there for almost an hour without ever having a server come over to us or take our order. A nice bus boy saw this and at least got us something to drink. Several times servers walked by us and even took the order of parties that were sat after us. Finally we decided to leave since my three child could not wait any longer for some food to eat. No apology or anything was given to us as we attempted to just pay for our drinks.
Good choices on menu. Food was delicious.
Food was okay. I had the shrimp and grits. It had a decent flavor but the texture of the grits was way off - it was chunky, almost a cornbread texture. Our service was terrible. There were literally more servers than tables but it still took 15 minutes to get our drink order taken. IMO, the food wasn’t good enough to make up for the service.
Maddy was an excellent sever. Didnt have to wait long to be sever and she got to us an a timely manner with it being a basy night. So thank you.
Great eatery with that old tavern feel. They had pizza available for customers for Friday happy hour. The bartender, Mrs. Landau, made each cocktail just as you expected. Wish I lived closer and I could be a regular there.
Food was good. Our server was great. However the table top was so sticky...it was clean, but the finish was breaking down. That was pretty pretty gross.
This a fun place to come and sit awhile. I enjoy the nachos myself. Cool old building in the heart of old Webster.
They have great Onion Rings. Need I say more. It's on a corner in Webster groves which was a great benefit during the Webster jazz and blues festival. Street parking worked out for me with a handicapped spot on the corner about a block away from c j Muggs. The service was okay with two mistakes out of 4 items for me. The waitress who took the order was not the runner who delivered my. She said she could tell something was wrong and corrected it in 5 minutes. That's pretty good on a hectic day where everyone wants to get in, eat, and get back to the music. There are handicapped restroom s available.
You can’t go wrong with CJ Muggs Brunch, lunch , dinner the best
Great food! The consistency of this place is spot on!
Bland food, poor service when we visited. Over priced for what it is. Wouldn't recommend
